Gabrielle Sewell

Violinist Gabrielle Sewell is passionate about sharing music with others through performance. She is also a sought-after teacher of pre-college-age students and a violin and chamber music faculty member at the Cincinnati Starling Project and Immanuel School of Music. She performed Vivaldi’s Summer as a winner of the Masterworks Youth Sinfonia Concerto Competition and has performed concertos with the Starling Showcase Orchestra. Gabrielle has served in principal positions as a member of CCM Orchestras, the Immanuel School of Music Youth Sinfonia, and has performed in many orchestras throughout the greater Cincinnati area. In 2019, she was honored to be the first prize winner of the Nancy F. Walker Memorial Scholarship and an award winner in 2023. During 2022 and 2023, Gabrielle was a grateful recipient of the Three Arts Scholarship. Gabrielle has attended Innsbrook Institute and Bowdoin International Music for six summers as a scholarship student. Her teachers have included Mark Reis, Larrie Howard, Larrie Howard, and Gyuhyun Han. Currently, she is a scholarship student Kurt Sassmannhaus at the University of Cincinnati College-Concervatory of Music.
